Villa Medusa
“My mother told us about the People’s House. There would be a big hall for
hall for the children to play, and lectures for the adults, and parties. “Really?” “Your daddy says so.” My head was spinning. In my childish imagination, this was the Revolution.
(Louis Guillox, La Maison du peuple)
From these few words we can understand the aim of the experience of Villa Medusa: to transform it into a social, cultural, aggregative and recreational reference point for the whole neighbourhood. To make Villa Medusa an antenna on the territory, involving the entire social and associative fabric that already carries out social activities and initiatives. A more widespread and participatory place for socialising.
